Frequently Asked Questions
What types of pets do you see at Pet Method?
We currently provide care for dogs and cats. Our services include primary care, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, integrative medicine, and more.
Do you accept walk-ins or same-day appointments?
We offer same-day appointments based on availability. Please call us as early as possible to check for openings. Walk-ins are not guaranteed, but we do our best to accommodate urgent needs.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, cash (no checks), CareCredit, and Cherry. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
What is Cherry, and how does it work?
Cherry allows you to split your veterinary bill into manageable monthly payments. Approval is quick and doesn’t impact your credit score. You can apply online or ask our team for more information at your next visit.
What counts as a veterinary emergency?
We consider the following situations urgent: difficulty breathing, unresponsiveness, seizures, active bleeding, sudden collapse, or ingestion of toxic substances (like xylitol, chocolate, or medications). If you’re unsure, call us—we can help assess your pet’s condition and advise next steps.
Do you offer holistic or integrative treatments?
Yes! Dr. Hunter Finn is known for his integrative approach, combining traditional veterinary medicine with acupuncture, nutrition counseling, and other natural therapies when appropriate.
Do you perform dental cleanings and extractions?
Absolutely. We provide comprehensive veterinary dentistry, including dental X-rays, cleanings under anesthesia, and surgical extractions when necessary.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring any previous veterinary records, a list of medications or supplements your pet is taking, and any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss with the doctor.
Can I stay with my pet during the appointment or procedure?
We welcome owners to be present during most wellness exams and consultations. For safety and efficiency, some procedures (like surgery or certain diagnostics) may require your pet to be admitted. Our team will always explain what to expect.
